Marmalakes Need Help!

Our incredibly talented good friends are working to raise funds for their upcoming ep. They have already finished tracking, they just need the money to finish mixing and packaging the final product. There is only 1 week left, and if they do not reach their goal then they don't get any of the pledged amount. This band gave us the opportunity to open at their first EP release show last year at the Cactus cafe which tremendously helped us get into the Austin music scene.

They absolutely deserve this. Please help support local Austin music.

SXSW 2011 recap

This past week has been a whirlwind of fun. We played 9 shows, enjoyed free beer, and met a lot of interesting people. We would like to thank our friends of The Sour Notes for all the help they offered this week. The bassist, Amarah, took this picture at the East Side Starving Art House where we played our set in the middle of the show room, surrounded by the audience, it was one of the most fun and intimate times of the week.

We will be taking a brief break from performances in order to finish the 5 song EP that will be completed by April 2011.
